- Homily inputs and outputs. The readings, notes, and preferences you submit, and the drafts generated in response, so we can deliver the Service.
- Basic analytics. Standard technical and usage information (such as pages visited and general device/browser data) to understand how the Service is used and to improve it.
How we use your information
- To deliver homilies and reflections and operate the Service.
- To create and manage your account and enforce plan limits.
- To process subscriptions and payments (through Stripe).
- To send transactional email such as your homily, sign-in links, and account notices (through Resend).

Third-party services
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Service. Each processes only the data needed for its function:
- Supabase — database and secure storage of account and usage data.
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI generation of homily drafts from your inputs.
- Stripe — payment and subscription processing.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage for essential functions only: to keep you signed in (your authentication session) and to remember whether you have unlocked your free homily. We do not use them for advertising.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To make a request, email us at hello@catholichomily.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for adults in ministry and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
